How to make a TARDIS (that holds truffles) by MeridaNinian How to make a TARDIS (that holds truffles) by MeridaNinian
Over the course of a month I slowly pieced this together. I made a few mistakes and redid a few things, but overall, it came out looking really nice and the person I made it for was in love with it. This is for personal use only. Enjoy!

I used: Cardboard, White Posterboard (or cardstock), Hot Glue Gun, Blue/Silver/Black Acrylic Paint, Glue Stick, Thin Wire, Cereal Box, Semi-clear Plastic Sheeting, Varnish, Straight Edge Blade, Ruler, My Printer, Scissors, and lots of sweat and tears :)

I was inspired by "TARDIS Chocolate/Trinket Box"
by ~aria-arissa aria-arissa.deviantart.com/art...

Images of Doctor Who characters were created by ~Hawkstone hawkstone.deviantart.com/art/D... and are available for sale as magnets on Hawkstone's site.

Doctor Who shapes were created by *Girl-on-the-Moon girl-on-the-moon.deviantart.co...

EDIT: I have been pointed out an error made in my haste (so embarrassing):
"~Mordrogyn: Cool but you realize you have too many panels on the sides right?"
-When making yours, you might want to take Mordrogyn's advice. ;)

EDIT: It has come to my attention that the measurements in step one are no longer able to be seen. They are 3 inches by 6 9/16 inches. Keep in mind, you should double check everything comes together at every step. Mine ended up being slightly rectangular rather than a perfect square.

what were your measurements for the first step? I know they're in the picture, but I can't read them...

Sorry, it was able to be seen before, something must've changed.  It is 3 inches by 6 9/16 inches.  Keep in mind, you should double check everything comes together at every step.  Mine ended up being slightly rectangular rather than a perfect square.

That, I cannot help you with at all. My truffles came from Lindors. ;) Although I'd recommend a wrapping of some sort and no hot car rides.

LIKE SNAPE FROM HARRY POTTER, YOU ARE FRAMING THE OOD INTO BEING A BAD GUY. :(
But this is awesome, so I also favorite it.

This is true, they aren't bad guys, but they were killing people in 2 episodes, so they were more fitted to the drawer than the wall. Plus I ran out of room.
